Child care subsidy (CCS) is the main way the Australian government assists families with their children fees. This subsidy has replaced Child Care benefit (CCB) and child care rebate (CCR) with this single subsidy system. The system generally pays directly to the child care providers that they pass on to the children’s families. The CCS Software is quite simpler than the multi-payment system and provides more assistance to low and middle income families.
The new CCSS software is designed to be simple and easy for child care providers and families alike. The payments made under this scheme may be higher for few families and lower for others. Few basic requirements that you need to satisfy for your child the avail the benefits of the scheme are:
- Age of your children should be either thirteen years or less. They should not be attending secondary school, except in certain conditions when a child has a disability or medical condition
- Your child is meeting immunization requirements
- You or your partner is meeting residency requirements as given in the legislation.
The childcare subsidy software is the new system that provides a simple interface for child care providers and parents. The new system includes reduced administrative and regulatory burden, enhanced access to information for families, improved compliance functionality, identifying child care providers that involve high risk behavior, reduce cases of overpayment and non-compliance.
The legislative change of the CCS has created the need for new software system for management of child care payments and records that would ensure greater controls and security for issues of compliance and detection.
